1. About NaijaVerify
NaijaVerify is a property verification platform. We are not a law firm, estate agent, or property broker. We verify process integrity — our certificate confirms what was found at the registry, not who owns a property. Our certificate does not constitute legal advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and have legal capacity to contract under Nigerian law to use our services.
3. Services
We offer Title Search, Charting, Probate Check, CTC Retrieval, and Deed Registration Status services. Each service involves a licensed professional visiting a government registry on your behalf. Details of each service are available on our Services page.
4. Fees and payment
Every invoice shows two components: the NaijaVerify service fee and the government registry fee. Government fees are charged at cost with no markup. No work begins before payment is confirmed. Payment is processed via Paystack — we do not store card details.
5. Refund policy
Before field work begins: full refund available. After field work begins: no refund except in cases of NaijaVerify error. If we cannot complete the verification: full refund. See our full Refund Policy for details.
6. The verification certificate
Completed verifications produce a blockchain-anchored certificate with a public verification URL. The certificate is valid for 12 months from issue date. NaijaVerify may revoke a certificate if material fraud is discovered in the verification process.
7. Limitations of liability
NaijaVerify's total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service. We are not liable for any loss arising from a property transaction based on our verification. We are not liable for government office delays, closures, or errors. You should always take independent legal advice on property transactions.
8. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit. You may not use the platform to verify properties you do not have a legitimate interest in, submit false information, or attempt unauthorised access.
9. Intellectual property
The NaijaVerify platform, certificates, and all content are our property. You may not reproduce certificates except for legitimate use or resell our services without written agreement.
10. Complaints and disputes
Contact support@naijaverify.org within 30 days. If unresolved, formal complaints to complaints@naijaverify.org. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
11. Changes
We will give 30 days notice of material changes. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
